Super fun paddling around the #SUPGames signature bow tie buoy course on a 10'6 all around board.
Incredible vibe and community on the water today.
Short, tech races like this are so fun to watch and cheer everyone on.
Spectator and beginner friendly.
And there were I think more women then men on the water today!
Next one is April 1st in Orlando. 😉

All smiles at the @treasurecoastpaddlebattle yesterday! We had exciting, fast and fun conditions for ocean to sound 10k course.
It took me a while to get warmed up but I actually felt/found race gear for a short while and it felt really good.
It's definitely a process, getting back into racing, the mindset and the motivation to push yourself.
There's a lot I want to share about it this but it's going to have to wait for another post. ☺️
I raced my Atlantis 14x22 for the first time (can you believe it?) and was super happy with my board choice.
It was so fun to see everyone. 💙🙏🏻🌊🏄🏽‍♂️

The NUMBER ONE complaint/excuse I hear from paddlers about training: “I wish I had more time to train.” “Once there’s more daylight, then I can paddle more.”
Sure, I hear you. I have a little one now and a business to run and having time to train can feel like a luxury that ‘others’ always seem to afford more of.
I agree that being out on the water is not the same as being in a gym or at home, but… there is so much benefit to training on AND OFF the water. So much benefit to improving your strength that translates to paddling faster, and benefit to training on a stable surface when you are learning and practicing using proper body mechanics. >> ALL of which we will do inside the 8 week SUP STROKE SCHOOL that starts March 3rd.
Semi serious TIP for land-based training for all of you “I only love working out on the water” people - Wear your swimsuit/paddle gear. I find most things in life way more fun when I’m in a bikini 😉

Let's play a little game of Where's Waldo (Seychelle) (I'm even kind of dressed like him)
This looks like the start line to a massive race, and well it is, and it isn't. Over 150 paddlers showing up for a fun Saturday race league in Jupiter, Fl.
And they have over 50 who show up every Tuesday night to race.
It's is incredible what the Jupiter SUP community has become! 🤩👏🏻
It felt better than I hoped racing 6 miles this weekend. I'm a long way from where I was, but "back" isn't a direction I am going.
Onward and upward to New paddling horizons.
One big plus to getting "out of shape" is feeling the progress of getting in to it again.
OH And, my #XRS felt great. This board is so light and fast in flat water.

You know what to do, you just don't do it.
You’re afraid of falling in or that someone is watching and 😲 might be judging your technique.

It's finally here!! - I've put together a series of videos describing and demonstrating all of the drills I use when I teach standup paddle technique at clinics and 1 on 1. I've been working on this project for years. Developing these techniques and how to apply and teach them to paddlers. And I couldn't be more excited to share them with you.
Having this series is like receiving all of the knowledge from attending a clinic with me except you'll have the videos to watch over and over again so you can practice the skills.
This series is for anyone looking to paddle faster, more efficiently, and without pain. It's for racers, and every day recreational paddlers who want to increase their mileage. There are 11 videos so far.
I am so excited for this and I'm super keen to hear your feedback as well on how I can make it even better for when the next set of videos comes out.

I had so much taking my new @sicmaui XRS on her maiden voyage at the winter challenge at @paddlingparadise yesterday 🥳 but the only thing I got photos of was RY'S first paddle. 😍😎🤩
